What is Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Texas, this percentage refers to
percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of window film and the glass.
Example:
A 2010 Ford Excursion clear front door meters 73%. Now calculate what 35% of 73 is in
order to find what the window will meter after 35% film is applied ie.. (73 x 35) / 100 =
25.55%.
So now we know that after 35% film is applied to a 2010 Ford Excursion the window will
meter at least 25% VLT
